Hat and mitten set

Welcome to my shop, I'm excited you're here! I'll tell you a bit about me, and why I started my journey of crochet. It all started in early 2019, right before the Covid pandemic hit full force. I was pregnant with my second child, and my grandmother was no longer able to crochet. I decided to take it upon myself to learn how to crochet so that future babies would also receive those special crocheted items! I purchased the items I would need to get started, and watched hours of YouTube videos to learn basic stitches, and beginner friendly items. Once I was comfortable and knew the basics, I learned how to read patterns. There were times I felt I jumped in too fast, and I was not a patient person. However, I quickly realized that crochet was therapeutic for me, and although in the past I was impatient and quickly gave up, crochet had the opposite effect. I was "hooked" and found any reason to crochet. I made all of my nephews afghans, hats, and my sons as well. I began trying sweaters, and larger afghans, too. For the first year or so those are the items I made. Amigurumi was intimidating to me, so I took a little longer to test those waters. I started following many different makers on social media, watch their reels, and decided I was ready. I jumped right in and haven't looked back! It's been so much fun learning different techniques, and how others do things. It's also interesting to see how I did things differently, and even making the same pattern as another is still different in your way! I hope you enjoy my items, and find it easy to navigate.
